The Tuscarora Sites

Tuscarora around the turn of the century.

A Little History

Placer gold was discovered in the Tuscarora district in 1867 and production from silver- gold lode deposits began in 1876.  By 1887, the most productive and active mines were Belle Isle, North Belle Isle, Nevada Queen, Navajo, Commonwealth, Grand Prize, Diana, and Found Treasure.

Total historical precious metal production is approximately 204,000 ounces of gold and 7.5 million ounces of silver from quartz veins and quartz stockwork mineralization; additionally, 300,000 ounces of placer gold has been reported prior to 1990.

80 Acres of Claim

The Tuscarora Mines, also known as the Tuscarora Mineral Claims consists of a adjoining grouping of four (4), twenty (20) acre Lode Mining Claims.  A total of eighty (80) acres covering the primary historical gold deposits located on public land in the Tuscarora District.

These claims include some of the most major production mines of the Tuscarora area.  Which include the Navajo, Belle Isle, Northern Belle Isle and the Independence.  There are also many thousands of tons of waste rock present from the mines and a variety of small prospects and a few extra unnamed mines.

Substantial Gold Values

The Tuscarora Mining Property still holds significant gold values according to historical documentation.  There are substantial waste dumps and mill tailings on the property, surveyors estimate over 200,000 tons of waste dumps which show clear evidence of silver, iron and gold.

The methods and processes currently available for gold processing today are far beyond anything even considered possible pre-1900.  Assays, mineral surveys and other qualified persons showed there are substantial gold values and reserves to be extracted, processed and developed.

TUSCARORA MINE HAS 200,000 TONS ABOVE GROUND TAILINGS.

The tailing dumps are from multiple mine workings which were previously all separate, high-yield mining operations.

image15

Average 0.547 oz of gold expected per ton of waste tailings, as referenced in the 2017 Assay Report results.

image16

Expected Yield Per Ton 0.547 oz

1 Troy ounce is equal to 31.1035 grams

Amount: 0.547 troy ounces (oz t) of gold mass

Equals: 17.01 grams (g) in gold mass

ABOVE GROUND RESERVE ESTIMATIONS AT TUSCARORA ARE 109,480 OUNCES IN GOLD!

1 ton = 29166.7 troy ounces

That's almost 4 tons of gold

GOLD OZ. VALUE = $136,850,000.00

That is, One Hundred Thirty-Six Million, Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars worth of gold neatly piled above ground just waiting for us to reclaim it!

The Crew took a run up to the Tuscarora Mine District to take a look around the plae to get a feel for the equipment we'd need and do some brainstorming.  We spent the day climbing 50 ft tall tailing piles and collecting samples.

The following week the guys ran those samples up to Washington state to get an in-person demonstration of the equipment.  They returned with several ziplock bags full of finely crushed rock.

Next, they sent those baggies off to the Assayer.  The results were outstanding.

March 2018 TUSCARORA MINE SAMPLES
